Aurora Attachment

Français

The Aurora attachment is moderately restrictive. It provides a functional obstruction to the pelvis, which prevents the user from sleeping flat on their back. The Aurora attachment has three configurations on the PrenaBelt™ – one configuration promoting left side and left-pelvic-tilt sleep, one configuration promoting right side and right-pelvic-tilt sleep, and one configuration promoting all four of these positions (left side, right side, left-pelvic-tilt, and right-pelvic-tilt sleep). The user can choose the configuration based on their preferred sleeping position.

Materials

♹ Air Chamber: Thermoplastic Polyurethane

♹ Fabric Case: 95% Rayon, 5% Spandex

Putting on and taking off the Aurora Attachment

  1. Inflate the Aurora chamber first. Open the valve cover. The valve on the chamber is a one-way valve, so air will not escape while you are inflating it. Blow into the valve to inflate the chamber. Once inflated, close the valve cover and place the chamber inside its fabric case.
  2. Lay the PrenaBelt™ flat on a flat surface with the outer side facing up.
  3. The Aurora attachment can be oriented in three different ways on the back section of the PrenaBelt™: on the left, in the middle, and on the right. If you prefer to only sleep on your left side, orient the Aurora attachment to the right side of the back panel. If you prefer to only sleep on your right side, orient the Aurora attachment to the left side of the back panel.
If you prefer to have the option to sleep on both sides, orient the Aurora attachment in the middle.  of the back panel, but note that switching sides during sleep with this orientation will require conscious effort.
  4. Align the hook fastener on the back of the Aurora attachment to the loop fastener on the back section of the PrenaBelt™ and press firmly to secure the hook-and-loop fastener connection.
  5. Once the Aurora attachment is secured, you can put the PrenaBelt™ on.
  6. To remove the Aurora attachment, take off the PrenaBelt™ and lay it flat on a flat surface with the Aurora attachment facing up.
  7. Grasp one side of the Aurora attachment and pull it away from the PrenaBelt™.
  8. To deflate the Aurora chamber, open the valve cover and press the button in the center of the valve to let the air escape from the chamber.
